Dr. Karla Schmidt

Dr. Karla Schmidt is a 2004 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. She and Dr. Hoyme were classmates in dental school, and then they did a general practice residency together at Loyola University in Chicago. In 2013, she moved back to Wisconsin with her family. Dr. Schmidt and Dr. Hoyme are excited to be practicing dentistry together again at MidTown Dental Care! Dr. Schmidt strives to provide personal and comfortable dental care to all of her patients. She enjoys connecting with her patients and relieving any dental anxiety the patients may have when visiting the dental office. Dr. Schmidt enjoys learning about the newest technology in dentistry and treating the older population of patients.

A+ all around. I needed a new dentist, but I kept putting it off. Tooth began hurting, so I couldn't put it off any longer. I called and they got me in the next day. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and I felt like I was in great hands. My new home for all things teeth, cleanings, and unfortunately a tooth extraction!

I would like to give a shout out to the dental care team at Mid-Town Dental. For a person who has always since childhood had a negative relationship to the dentist, and very recently due to auto mobile accident (which serval of my teeth were shattered) a few years back, have a had more aversion to this profession. I was floored by the warmth, professionalism, and care I received from the whole staff and especially Becca, who took care of me a majority of the time. They have given me a renewed point of view on the dentist office and I look forward to continuing my care there.

MidTown Dental (and Dr Laura Russell) did an incredible job of treating my daughter following a sports injury which required immediate treatment and impacted several teeth, including one tooth that came out during the injury. Everyone at the office was so responsive, compassionate, and helpful. In addition, they helped us find a highly regarded oral surgeon in short order. I’ve always been pleased with MidTown Dental during regular cleanings and care for my family, but after this emergency treatment, I am beyond impressed. THANK YOU to everyone at MidTown and especially Dr Laura Russell. I highly, highly recommend MidTown.
